Elyria is in Ohio, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Elyria follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. Played here for the first time and absolutely loved it. It’s a really nice and challenging 9-hole course that is very well maintained. Andy, who I believe is the manager, was incredibly friendly and took the time to give us advice and explain the course layout. His hospitality made the experience even better. I can’t wait to come back and play again!

Course was in terrific shape this morning despite several days of extreme heat. Clearly the staff take great pride in keeping this course in top condition. I'd like to commend Andy in the pro shop for being extraordinarily friendly and helpful. He is genuinely concerned about golfers having a good experience at Cherry Ridge, especially during extremely hot weather. It's rare to see a pro shop manager put so much effort into making this course very welcoming. The course is great for golfers who need to fine tune their game or beginners. The fairways and greens were in terrific shape and the layout offers a nice variety of hole designs. Definitely worth a visit.
